Personal care workers and nursing assistants who have achieved their Certificate of Attainment in the ACCW approved courses to work in the areas of Aged Care, Mental Health, Disability and Community Care Services. Including other areas of care such as Life style and leisure, NDIS, Home Care, Independent Living Centers, Day Care, Retirement Village and Hospitality (Cleaning, Laundry, Catering and Maintenance related to the above areas of work)
Individuals with allied health qualifications working in areas of Aged Care, Mental Health, Disability, Community Care Services, and other care related areas as noted under Qualified Care Worker.
For example: Paid specialist in the area of Continence, Palliative care, Bowel management, Wound care specialist, Diabetic Specialist, Music Therapist, Massage Therapist, Dementia Specialist, Physiotherapist, Dietitian, Optometrist, Dentists.
A company, association, partnership or other incorporated or unincorporated organisation, which is registered to provide Care Services, but is not an Approved Provider Member.
For example: Director of nursing / Director of clinical care, Aged care Educators, Quality coordinator, Registered nurse, Palliative care nurse, Dental nurse
A company, association, partnership or other incorporated or unincorporated organisation which is a registered as an approved provider within the meaning of the Aged Care Act 1997 (Cth).
For example: Residential aged care services (RACS), Home and community care service providers, Mental health services providers, Disability services (NDIS) providers, Special residential services (SRS) providers, Independent living centres providers
A company, association, partnership or other incorporated or unincorporated organisation which supports the provision of Care Services by providing relevant services (as determined by the Board) but is not a Care Provider. For example: Peak body Providers eg LASA, COATA, Unions, Dental services, Optometry services, Physiotherapy services
